Apple news website letemsvetemapplem.eu claims that Apple has a scheduled MacBook Air update for February 24th. The site says that this Air refresh will be minor, so if it is indeed happening, the update will likely focus on processor, storage, and RAM improvements. Of course, this is not the radically new 12-inch MacBook Air with Retina display that we’ve detailed, it’s just a mid-season component refresh. The site agrees with our earlier report that says there is no media event planned for February. Apple has done a few minor MacBook Air updates over the past few years, so this would not be unprecedented…

Yes, that’s Seth Rogen (of Pineapple Express fame) and Christian Bale (the best Batman ever) superimposed into the bodies of Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs. That board the pair are carrying? That’s worth about a million bucks. Probably nearly as much as that awesome belt that Woz rocks in the photo. Image via GadgetLove.

Blog UkrainianiPhone believes that the next-generation iPhone will look like the device in the renders above and below. It’s unlikely that the image directly below represents an actual piece of Apple marketing or if the slogan on that image will be what Apple ends up using when the device launches in the fall.

For this upcoming holiday season, Apple will be celebrating with a front Apple Store window display that several Apple Retail employees have described as spectacular. A photo of the display, sent in by a source, is above. The display highlights both the iPad Air and iPhone 5c and is made up of several LED lights shaped into snow flakes. The design is simple, but unique and impressive…

While Apple Stores across the United States are expected to have significant supplies of the iPad Air, some Apple Stores have been told to allocate a smaller number of devices for purchases handled in the early morning.
For example, depending on the store and market size, a few dozen to several dozen units of each model in every color and internet-connectivity option will be allocated for purchases before 12 noon.
Once the store-specific sales number for morning purchases is hit, some stores will not offer those models until later in the day or via Personal Pickup…

Last week, we reported that Apple has begun development of the successor to the upcoming OS X Mavericks: OS X 10.10. We reported hearing that the future operating system is internally dubbed “Syrah” (a type of wine), and now we have received evidence of the codename. Above is a screenshot of operating systems available for installation by Apple employees internally. As you can see, “Syrah” is available as an operating system newer than Mavericks and the recently released OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5…
