It’s more likely than you might think. Kotaku (via iTHome.com) has an interesting look at the grey market for iPhones that has surfaced in China. Traded like any other commodity, busted iPhones are sought after, torn apart and built back up like new again in shops as casually as you could imagine. It is said that these handsets are even spoofed to be sold as new in some cases. Be safe out there folks!
