T-Mobile is today introducing a “Wireless Customer Bill of Rights” that it’s hoping customers will share online to promote the company’s Un-carrier marketing initiatives while simultaneously shaming the other carriers/competition. And better yet, T-Mobile plans to write customer tweets outside of AT&T and Verizon stores graffiti-style using, of course, magenta chalk:
Use #TweetJohn on Twitter and you’re in for a surprise through March 31 – the John Legere emoji, a gift from Twitter to John for his three years fighting for wireless customer rights!
…T-Mobile will write every single one of those tweets and posts outside Verizon and AT&T stores in high-traffic locations across the country – in magenta chalk, naturally.
But that won’t happen unless the hashtag/emoji gets used at least 500,000 times between now and the end of the month.
Here’s a look at the full Wireless Customer Bill of Rights from the company, which essentially runs down the various Un-carrier initiatives the company has introduced over the last three years:
And here’s T-Mob CEO John Legere’s video blog about the announcement:
