Colorful new iMacs?
Ahead of next Tuesday’s “Spring Loaded” Apple event, we’re still trying to get a clear picture of what Apple could announce. This weekend, the reliable Twitter source L0vetodream has cryptically hinted that Apple will announce new iMac models during the April 20 event.
1
On Twitter this morning, L0vetodream posted an image of Apple’s invite artwork for the April 20 event alongside an image of the G3 iMac lineup in all of its various colors. Notably, this comes after L0vetodream previously tweeted an image of the event invite with the caption “enjoy these colors.”
21.5" iMac Back-ordered
As rumors about a potential 24-inch Apple Silicon iMac continue to swirl, various models of the current 21.5-inch iMac are significantly back-ordered from Apple’s Online Store. Many models are also unavailable for pickup from Apple Stores around the United States, but this could be due to chip shortages.

Currently, Apple’s Online Store indicates that the base model 21.5-inch iMac is back-ordered until April 27 through April 29. Upgrading to the 16GB RAM/1TB Fusion Drive configurations further delays delivery, pushing estimations into May.
Apple Pays 1c/stream
The Wall Street Journal reports that Apple is set to release an open letter to artists later today. Most significantly, the letter says that Apple Music pays one cent per stream. That is roughly twice what Spotify pays, according to estimates.

Streaming services are trying to show that they are friendly to artists, especially as revenue from concerts and tours cratered during the pandemic. In the same vein, Apple recently invested in an independent music artist platform called UnitedMasters.
iPhone 13: Strong Sales
A new analyst report suggests that Apple is expecting strong iPhone 13 sales when the new lineup is launched in the fall. Supply-chain checks indicate that Apple is gearing up for even more orders than the company initially planned for the iPhone 12.

The report also predicts “modest” price increases for the new iPad Pro models we’re expecting to see unveiled tomorrow, over pricing of the existing models …
Apple Event Tomorrow
