Spotify postpones plans to add AirPlay 2 support on its iOS app

Following requests from multiple users and even a confirmation that the company was considering implementing this feature, it seems that Spotify has given up on adding AirPlay 2 support to its iOS app for the time being.

The reason for this is that due to audio driver compatibility issues, this seems like a bigger project that we won’t be able to complete in the foreseeable future.
