Is the iPhone 6 going to be the phone we all wanted last year?

When the iPhone 5s launched, a lot of people were disappointed. Apple’s main marketing selling point was a mix between Touch ID and 64-bit. The screen didn’t change, neither did the design and hardware in any way. So what is going on? Is Apple losing its touch?

Not exactly. If you haven’t already noticed, there is a small pattern evolving in Apple’s product release cycle, at least for iPhone. There was the first generation iPhone, then the iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4, 4s, 5, and now the 5s. See the pattern? Every other release, Apple adds an “S” to the end of the iPhone name. Which basically means that the phone has one or two new features but most of the changes took place inside of the phone.

There is no doubt that there is an increase in speed and performance with the iPhone 5s. But that is just it, it’s an “S” release, don’t expect anything too fancy here.

So, will the iPhone 6 bring the bigger display and new design that 9to5Mac has been breaking lately? Yes, it will. If Apple continues to follow the “S” release pattern, we will see iPhone 6 with a new design, bigger screen, and iOS 8.

So is it the Apple users dream phone? Well it took quite a while for Apple to increase the size just a bit on the iPhone 5, and most people think it is still too small. So yes, if you’re yearning for a bigger screen on your iPhone, you should be happy with iPhone 6.
