Apple TV just confirmed a new season for one of my favorite shows this year

Apple has announced that Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, the acclaimed thriller that premiered this spring, will return for season 2.

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed season 2 is officially on the way

One of Apple TV’s most acclaimed new shows of 2026, Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, is officially coming back for a second season.

Apple announced the season 2 renewal today. From the press release:

“We are delighted to continue the story of ‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’ and deeply grateful to Apple and our incredible cast and crew,” said David J. Rosen, creator and showrunner. “This is all pretty amazing for a show whose title came from a spam email.”

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed premiered this spring to strong praise from critics. Its first season has a 93% Rotten Tomatoes score.

If you haven’t seen it, the thriller-dark comedy revolves around a newly divorced mom played by Tatiana Maslany who “falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder and youth soccer.”

After witnessing a crime, she begins investigating and finds herself in danger’s path right when she’s fighting a custody battle with her ex, played by Jake Johnson.

You can watch Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed here on Apple TV.

Episodes are roughly 35 minutes each and keep a quick pace. It’s a show that’s full of twists and surprises, but flew somewhat under the radar during its run, so I’m very excited it got renewed.

Apple TV is available for $14.99 per month, or you can get it discounted through the Apple One bundle.
