How many smartphone owners? 90% of the over-6 population by 2020, says report

The latest Ericsson Mobility report predicts that by 2020, 90% of those aged six and over will have a smartphone.

The company says that there are currently 2.7B smartphones and 300M laptops and tablets, with those numbers set to reach 6.1B and 650M by 2020.

    I’d find it even more interesting to know how many of 6-12 year olds will have one.
