This image posted by designer Karl Lagerfeld’s employee Sebastien Jondeau appears to show a special edition Apple Watch with gold link bracelet. It’s unclear if Apple was behind the gold link bracelet, or if Lagerfeld had it done himself, but Tim Cook was also spotted with a special edition Apple Watch with red crown.
I can’t see a watch, as I’ve been blinded by that hideously flamboyant glove, but I’m sure it looks lovely.
As for Tim Cook’s red crown, I think it’s an extremely clever and inexpensive mod for them to make. Apple’s internal device security has to rival that of POTUS’ Blackberry right? Tim cook has stuff on his watch that can’t end up in anyone else’s hands.
A visual ID for whose watch is whose is probably handy in their workspace.. especially if they’re using NFC internally, for super-secret proximity stuff, at which point it’s as good as a key.
Or he could just really like the red colour. :) Either way that line of inquiry is more interesting to me than what Karl Lagerfeld is wearing.
Watch looks great. Glove is terrifying.
