Gameloft teased the release of The Dark Knight Rises iOS game last week with the second teaser trailer for the official movie tie-in above. Today, the universal iOS app is already available in the New Zealand App Store for $9.99, and it should hit the U.S. store for around $6.99 shortly. Also of note, although it is not a Gameloft developed Batman title, the popular Batman Arkham City Lockdown iOS game released by Warner Bros. is currently on sale for just 99 cents, down from the usual $6. It also recently received a huge update with Retina support.

When kicks and gadgets are of no use, The Dark Knight relies on his vehicles to get the job done. Drive the Bat-Pod for special vigilante missions or pilot The Bat for fast travel across the city.
