LaLa.com closes, iTunes don't get streaming – yet…

Farewell Lala.com.

As it had warned, Apple closed its recently-acquired LaLa.com music streaming service last night. The company had confirmed plans to shutter the service earlier this year, saying, “In appreciation of your support, you will receive a credit in the amount of your Lala web song purchases for use on Apple’s iTunes Store.”

Speculation now must surely be focused on Apple
