YouTube has updated its iOS application with support for the iPad and the iPhone 5’s taller display. Also, the new application includes support for AirPlay, more advanced playlist management, improved voice over support, and more.

According to YouTube, users will also find improved performance and faster video loading with this new update.

The iPad YouTube experience is completely optimized for the tablet’s larger display. Google launched its YouTube application shortly before iOS 6 became available. Versions of iOS up to iOS 6 included an Apple-built YouTube player.
