Square Cash has just released the latest update to their iOS app now with further support and integration with iOS 10. The update today includes the ability for users to quickly send and request money from one another using either iMessage or Siri.

The update today takes advantage of the new iOS 10 features including the ability to send money through the Square Cash app using iMessage. Users can optionally chose to “gift wrap” the money so that when it’s sent it appears as a surprise to the recipient. Users can also request Siri to send or receive payments thanks to the new Siri SDK.

What’s New in Version 2.13.2

Introducing Cash for iMessage! • Attach money to a message and send to a friend • Tap once to claim your cash • Optional gift wrapping lets you keep the amount a surprise

Introducing Cash for Siri! • Ask Siri to send payments for you • “Send $10 for tacos to Lauren with Cash” • “Request $900 from Jake for rent with Cash”

Introducing the Cash Virtual Card number! • Pay for things with money you keep in the app • Powered by Visa, with a real card number • Completely free to use with no hidden fees

Square Cash is available from the App Store for free and is compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
