Apple TV+ lands new Brett Goldstein project, proving ‘he’s here, he’s there, he’s every … where’

Apple TV+ has announced a new romantic drama in the works starring and written by Brett Goldstein, the man known especially for his beloved Roy Kent role in Ted Lasso. It’s called All of You. Here’s the info.

Roy Kent in a sci-fi romance, why not?

Brett Goldstein has become quite the Apple TV+ collaborator.

After stealing the show in every moment on-screen in hit series Ted Lasso, the actor recently began guest starring on the Apple TV+ series he co-created with Lasso’s creator, Shrinking.

Shrinking is almost done airing its excellent second season, and Ted Lasso season 4 is preparing to shoot soon, but Goldstein has already landed another Apple TV+ project.

You could say that he’s here, he’s there, he’s every … where.

All of You

All of You is the new Goldstein project, which he stars in and co-wrote.

Here’s Apple’s description of the new film:

When an exciting new test matching soulmates together comes between two best friends, they spend the next twelve years trying to resist the urge to disrupt the paths their lives have taken — marriage, children and tragedy — despite the undeniable feeling they belong together.

The film will be released some time in 2025 on Apple TV+. It’s been making the festival circuit, showing at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival and the BFI London Film Festival.

Goldstein will star alongside Imogen Poots, who plays his romantic partner. William Bridges of Black Mirror fame is the director and Goldstein’s co-writer.

All of You is, per Apple, “a humorous and heart-wrenching romantic drama.” But as Variety points out, it also has a very sci-fi premise that fits nicely with director Bridges’ wheelhouse.
