Apple releases beta 2 for visionOS 2.3, tvOS 18.3, and more

Apple has a wave of new beta software ready. Beta 2 is rolling out now for visionOS 2.3, tvOS 18.3, watchOS 11.3, and more.

Beta 2 arrives today for Apple’s winter releases

Apple shipped its last wave of big software updates in mid-December, and followed it up with a fresh array of betas.

Now, following a brief hiatus over the holiday break, Apple has released developer beta 2 for many of its platforms. These include:

  • visionOS 2.3
  • tvOS 18.3
  • watchOS 11.3
  • HomePod 18.3
  • plus iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3, and macOS 15.3

If you have a developer account, you can find each beta 2 update inside your device’s Software Update screen in Settings.

The first betas for these updates were particularly light on new features.

Outside of Genmoji coming to the Mac, the main addition is robot vacuum support inside the Home app.

This will ultimately, when compatible devices ship, make it possible to control your robot vacuum not only inside Apple’s Home app but also via Siri across platforms like HomePod, Apple TV 4K, and more.

Here’s hoping Apple has some new additions for today’s beta 2 releases, whether that’s in visionOS 2.3, tvOS 18.3, or the other updates. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on anything and everything new we discover.

Have you installed today’s beta 2 updates? Found anything new? Let us know in the comments.
