Apple releases iOS 18.3.1 restore image for the new iPhone 16e

Apple officially announced the iPhone 16e today, replacing the iPhone SE and iPhone 14 with a $599 model that supports Apple Intelligence. Following the announcement, Apple has also posted the iOS 18.3.1 restore image for the new iPhone 16e.

iOS 18.3.1 is the latest shipping version of the iPhone software. Apple released the software update on February 10, shipping a ton of security improvements to iPhone customers. Apple later released an updated build

Today’s restore image guarantees that iPhone 16e customers can safely update and restore to the shipping version of iOS when the new phone reaches customers later this month. The build version is 22D8075, and the iPhone 16e model identifier is iPhone17,5.
