Last week multiple leaks revealed the colors to expect from iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air this fall. But now, a new leak of camera parts for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max provides a first look at the likely colors for those models too.
Camera parts reveal new iPhone 17 Pro colors coming
Leaker Sonny Dickson, who now turns iPhone parts into works of art via Collectible Phones, has just shared images of the camera lens covers for iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max.
The new images were shared on X and indicate we might get multiple brand new colors this year.
He labels the five camera lens colors as:
- Black
- Gray
- Silver
- Dark Blue
- Orange
Dickson also shared a follow-up post with an image that provides an even better look:

I will really have to think hard what color I choose and I will look at the color and the beautiful design for at least one minute before I but the phone into the case. I will not see it again until I sell it. Then I will take it out of the case and think: Wow, that actually looked pretty good...

I say it again and again: Give me a rugged iPhone Ultra that does not need a case!
The parts leak is noteworthy for several reasons:
- Five colors are shown rather than the typical four, which might mean Apple is expanding the color options on this year’s Pro models
- Orange could indicate a dark shade of gold, perhaps something close to copper
- Dark Blue looks like a potential return to the iPhone 15 Pro’s blue option
Apple is widely expected to shift from titanium to aluminum for more parts in the iPhone 17 Pro models, which could also influence how these colors end up turning out.
In any case, it seems that Apple plans to continue the trend of darker shades for its Pro line while the iPhone 17 goes lighter and a little more fun.
