The next Apple TV+ comedy is almost here, with a treat for Severance fans

Maya Rudolph’s hit comedy Loot is coming back soon for season 3 on Apple TV+, and its newly released trailer spotlights co-star Adam Scott’s triumphant return post-Severance fame.

Loot’s new trailer spotlights Adam Scott’s season 3 return

Amid a flurry of dramas and thrillers, Loot will be the next comedy series Apple releases.

Loot season 3 arrives Wednesday, October 15 on Apple TV+ with two episodes, then weekly releases through December 10.

The comedic return of Adam Scott to Loot will no doubt be a treat after Severance became Apple’s most popular series of all time. Scott plays Maya Rudolph’s ex-husband, who had a larger role in season 1 but appeared slightly less often in season 2.

Though it’s unknown how many episodes of Loot season 3 will feature Scott, Apple is very much leaning into his star power in the new trailer—while also using the actor to echo a recent “jeans” controversy.

Beyond Rudolph, Scott, and the rest of the returning ensemble, Loot’s new season features guest appearances from:

  • Stephanie Styles
  • D’Arcy Carden
  • Kesha
  • Zane Phillips
  • Henry Winkler
  • X Mayo
  • Paula Pell

You can watch Loot’s first two seasons here with an Apple TV+ subscription and get a taste of Adam Scott as the villain ex-husband. The series centers on Maya Rudolph’s character getting an $87 billion divorce settlement from Scott, then giving it away.

Apple TV+ is available for $12.99 per month and features hit TV shows and movies like Ted LassoSeveranceThe Morning ShowSilo, and Shrinking.
