Apple TV unveils the return of one of its best-reviewed shows

Apple TV has a stacked lineup of returning shows coming soon, including the just-unveiled season 2 of Drops of God, one of the streamer’s best reviewed shows ever.

Drops of God season 2 trailer arrives ahead of January 21 premiere

Drops of God is one of the most overlooked gems in Apple TV’s library of shows and movies.

The series is based on a New York Times bestselling manga and set in the world of gastronomy and fine wines. It’s also a multilingual series, with English, Japanese, and French all spoken.

Drops of God season 2 premieres Wednesday, January 21 with one episode, followed by weekly releases through March 11.

Season 1 of Drops of God has a perfect 100% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes and 93% viewers grade, putting it among the most acclaimed Apple series so far.

Apple has several other highly anticipated returning series coming soon, including new seasons for beloved comedy Shrinking, the thriller Hijack starring Idris Elba, and sci-fi epic Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.
