Apple TV, iTunes Store, App Store, Xcode Cloud, App Store Connect down for some users [U: Fixed]

Apple’s System Status page confirms the ongoing outage, although the issue might not be affecting all users and developers worldwide. Here are the details.

Apple’s System Status page is currently displaying 4 outages, including:

App Store – Outage
Today, 6:48 PM – ongoing
Some users are affected
Some users may be experiencing issues with this service.

Apple TV Channels – Outage
Today, 6:48 PM – ongoing
Some users are affected
Users may be unable to access multiple services and stores or make purchases.

Apple TV – Outage
Today, 6:48 PM – ongoing
Some users are affected
Users may be experiencing intermittent issues with this service.

iTunes Store – Outage
Today, 6:48 PM – ongoing
Some users are affected
Some users may be experiencing issues with this service.

On the System Status page of its Developer website, Apple also confirms another 4 outages, as well as two current issues affecting Apple News API and News Publisher:

Today, 7:30 PM – ongoing
All users are affected
We are performing routine maintenance, with no expected user impact.

App Store Connect – App Processing – Outage
Today, 7:30 PM – ongoing
All users are affected
Users are experiencing a problem with this service. We are working to resolve this issue.

App Store Connect – TestFlight – (Opens in new window) – Outage
Today, 7:30 PM – ongoing
All users are affected
We are performing routine maintenance, with no expected user impact.

Xcode Cloud – (Opens in new window) – Outage
Today, 7:40 PM – ongoing
Some users are affected
Users are experiencing a problem with this service. We are working to resolve this issue.

Apple has not detailed what exactly happened, nor when the services are expected to be fully restored. We will monitor the situation and update this post as the situation progresses.


Update, 9:22 p.m. ET: Apple’s System Status page now shows issues with Apple Business Essentials, Apple Business Manager, News, iCloud Mail, Apple School Manager, iMessage, and iWork for iCloud. The page also lists outages affecting the App Store, Maps Routing & Navigation, Maps Traffic, Photos, Apple TV Channels, Apple TV, and the iTunes Store.

On its Developer System Status page, Apple currently lists News Publisher and Apple News API as facing issues, while the following services are shown as experiencing outages: Apple Podcasts Connect, App Store – Advanced Commerce API, App Store – In-App Purchases, App Store – Receipt Verification, App Store – Sandbox, Developer ID Notary Service, App Store Connect, App Store Connect – App Processing, App Store Connect – Sales and Trends, App Store Connect – TestFlight, App Store Connect API, Apple Music for Artists, and Xcode Cloud.
