Apple TV is adding MLS for free starting this week, here’s the new promo

Apple TV is ramping up its sports offerings, starting with making MLS entirely free for subscribers. With the new MLS season kicking off later this week, Apple TV just shared a new video promo.

Major League Soccer season starts this weekend, free for Apple TV subscribers

If you’re a sports fan, Apple TV has two big offerings coming soon.

Next month, all F1 races will stream on Apple TV in the US. But before that, the MLS season kickoff is about to take place.

Major League Soccer used to be a paid standalone subscription from Apple. It was called MLS Season Pass.

But starting this season, full MLS access is entirely free for all Apple TV subscribers.

You can subscribe to Apple TV here to watch the full MLS season.

Every single match will be available for users around the globe, beginning with the kickoff matches this Saturday, February 21.

Ahead of the season’s start, Apple has shared a new promo video on X:

The removal of the extra paywall should hopefully help boost MLS’s popularity. And also, of course, provide another reason for soccer fans to stay subscribed to Apple TV.

Apple TV is available for $12.99 per month, or you can get it discounted through the Apple One bundle.
