Apple has just shared the full-length trailer for the new For All Mankind season. Here’s the official plot summary followed by the trailer:

Season five of “For All Mankind” picks up in the 2010s, years since the Goldilocks asteroid heist. Happy Valley has grown into a thriving colony with thousands of residents and a base for new missions that will take us even further into the solar system. But with the nations of Earth now demanding law and order on the Red Planet, friction continues to build between the people who live on Mars and their former home.

For All Mankind season 5 premieres Friday, March 27 with one episode, followed by weekly releases through May 29.

As the trailer shows, For All Mankind’s new season picks up in 2012 where the occupation of Mars has become a major political battle.

Apple TV is known for strong sci-fi series, and For All Mankind was the streamer’s first. It premiered as part of Apple’s launch lineup in November 2019.
