Tomorrow is Apple’s biggest product launch event of the year, with new Apple Watch models expected to debut. And now in an unusual move, the Apple Watch SE 3 is completely unavailable in all configurations on Apple’s website.
Apple’s website says ‘Currently Unavailable’ for all Apple Watch SE 3 models
Apple is expected to launch new iPhones, Apple Watch models, and likely AirPods and more at its September 9 event.
And now ahead of the event, one current Watch model—Apple Watch SE 3—has become unavailable for purchase on Apple’s website.
As spotted by MacRumors, you can configure any version of Apple Watch SE 3, then find at the end of the process that Apple’s site says the model is “Currently Unavailable.” That’s true for delivery options as well as local Apple Store pickup.

Apple doesn’t typically remove stock of a product ahead of its replacement.
But what makes this move especially odd is that there have been no rumors about an Apple Watch SE 4 coming tomorrow.
Instead, we’re expecting Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 to be the only new models.
Perhaps the current lack of availability is a system bug that will be resolved shortly. But for now, it seems to suggest that a next-generation Apple Watch SE might debut tomorrow.
We’ll keep you posted on any relevant updates to Apple Watch SE 3 availability.
