T-Mobile’s new plans let users swap between Apple TV and other subscriptions

T-Mobile’s new “T-Mix” plans let users choose from subscriptions like Apple TV, Netflix, and YouTube Premium, and switch between them several times a year without changing their monthly bill. Here are the details.

T-Mix plans set to launch next month

As spotted by Fierce Network (via The Verge), T-Mobile today announced “T-Mix,” a new lineup of wireless plans that lets users choose from a range of subscription services and switch between them during four annual selection windows.

As T-Mobile explains, there are three T-Mix plans that offer different data allowances and other wireless benefits. Additionally, each plan includes a number of “Picks” that customers can use toward subscriptions, device promotions, and other perks.

These include “Apple TV, DashPass by DoorDash, Hulu, Netflix, Pandora and SiriusXM […], Apple Music, ESPN Unlimited, Delta SkyMiles, Google Gemini, Paramount+, XBOX Game Pass and YouTube Premium”, with more partners expected to be added over time.

T-Mobile adds that “Picks can also be used toward wireless benefits like T-Satellite, Optimized Video Calls and device promotions, including using Picks to get a new phone on Us.”

Here are the details on the three plans launching next month:

Importantly, as shown above, Apple TV requires just one Pick, while Apple Music Individual requires two. In other words, some subscriptions require more Picks than others, meaning their availability depends on the customer’s plan and number of lines. T-Mobile notes that Apple TV will remain available for one Pick through June 2027.

Apple TV is available for $14.99 per month or as part of the Apple One bundle. It features hit TV shows and movies like Ted Lasso, Severance, The Studio, The Morning Show, Shrinking, and Silo.
