Apple now sells Dynamic Power Adapter for fast charging iPhones

Following the conclusion of today’s iPhone 17 event, Apple has made a variety of new accessories available on the online Apple Store. One surprise not mentioned during the keynote: a new 40W Dynamic Power Adapter that specializes in fast charging iPhones.

40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max now available from Apple Store

If you’re ready for new iPhone accessories, the online Apple Store has you covered.

Joining the new Crossbody Strap, TechWoven cases, and MagSafe Battery pack, there’s a brand new power adapter.

Apple’s ‘40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max’ is now available for $39, and appears specially designed to fast charge iPhones.

Here’s the official listing description:

The 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max is uniquely designed to dynamically deliver up to 60W of output, providing a powerful boost in charging speeds.

With Dynamic Power, you get many of the same benefits of higher-wattage chargers in a compact, pocket-size form factor to make charging at home, in the office, or on the go faster and more convenient than ever. For fast charging, pair the Dynamic Power Adapter with iPhone 17 models (50 percent battery in around 20 minutes) or iPhone Air (50 percent battery in around 30 minutes).

Interestingly, the list of compatible devices only includes iPhones back through the iPhone 15 line, whereas basically all historic Apple Watch and AirPods models are listed as compatible.

The specific charging speeds are not listed for each device, other than the quoted fast charging speeds for iPhone 17 models and iPhone Air.

You can purchase the new Dynamic Power Adapter from the online Apple Store.
