NASA is about to launch its highly anticipated Artemis II test flight, with a targeted launch time of 6:24 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, April 1.

The 10-day mission around the Moon and back will blast off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Film company Cosmic Perspective has shared on X that it’s on the ground now, ready to film the launch with a Blackmagic URSA immersive camera for Apple Vision Pro.

The video above shows the Blackmagic camera all set up for the launch. And in a follow-up post, Cosmic Perspective confirmed that it’s capturing Apple Immersive Video for the Vision Pro.

Cosmic Perspective is focused on “sharing the awe and wonder of space through films and immersive experiences.” It has captured many other launches in 3D, 180-degree stereoscopic film and immersive spatial audio.

The group has an Apple Vision Pro ‘Rocket Launch VR’ app that’s coming soon, per its website.
