As reported by CBS News, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) vowed to start attacking US-based tech and finance companies in the Mideast starting tomorrow. Here are the details.
Apple among U.S. firms tagged as ‘terrorist companies’ by Iran’s IRGC
According to CBS News, the IRGC has issued a warning against “terrorist companies” that it claims have been acting as spies for the U.S. government.
In the warning, which was published today on Telegram, the IRGC lists 18 U.S.-based tech and finance companies that operate in the region, including Apple, Boeing, Cisco, Google, IBM, J.P. Morgan, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Tesla.
The warning also urges “employees of these institutions to leave their workplaces immediately to save their lives.”

The IRGC said the U.S. had “ignored our repeated warnings about the need to stop terrorist operations, and today, a number of Iranian citizens were martyred in your and your Israeli allies’ terrorist attacks; Since the main element in designing and tracking terror targets are American ICT and AI companies, in response to this terrorist operation, from now on the main institutions effective in terrorist operations will be our legitimate targets.”
The post warned “employees of these institutions to leave their workplaces immediately to save their lives. Residents around these terrorist companies in all countries in the region should also leave their places within a radius of one kilometer and go to a safe place.”
CBS News notes that the IRGC had issued a similar warning earlier this month, which came after drone strikes damaged Amazon’s infrastructure in the region.
