Severance season 3 is about to start filming, and in a new interview, Adam Scott teases big surprises coming while also revealing that he already knows the show’s ending.

Severance has ‘so many surprises’ in season 3, and series ending is already set

Severance season 2

Apple’s sci-fi hit Severance is set to start shooting season 3 very soon, with an Apple TV premiere likely in late 2027.

In a new interview at Variety, star Adam Scott was asked what he could share about Severance season 3.

Understandably, he didn’t offer specific plot points or other solid details. However, Scott did tease that “there are so many surprises” coming in the new season of Severance.

He also confirmed that Ben Stiller is “still very involved in the show” despite not directing any episodes this time around.

One other notable quote involved Severance’s ending.

Apple and the show’s creators have yet to reveal how many seasons the show is planned for. However, the ending of Severance sounds like it’s very much already set, and Scott knows all about it.

“Oh, yes. I’m an executive producer on the show, so I’m involved in all of it. We talk with the writers and Dan [Erickson] all the time. I know everything about what’s going on. [As an actor] I like having as much information as possible.”

Previously, Severance creator Dan Erickson has said that the show will be sure to answer all of the big mysteries it has raised before the series ends. In other words, viewers won’t get a repeat of ABC’s Lost.

You can watch Severance’s first two seasons here on Apple TV.

Apple TV is available for $12.99 per month, or you can get it discounted through the Apple One bundle.
