Rhea Seehorn has joined her second Apple Original project, signing on as part of the cast for the upcoming film ‘Running.’ Here are the details.
’Running’ adds Rhea Seehorn as cast member
Apple TV’s account on X confirmed today that Rhea Seehorn is joining the cast of “Running,” a new Apple Originals Film.
Seehorn rose to fame as Kim Wexler on ‘Better Call Saul‘, and now stars in ‘Pluribus‘, her second collaboration with Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad).
According to Apple, Running will be directed by Gavin O’Connor, and it also stars Spike Fearn (Alien: Romulus, Back to Black), and Brian Tyree Henry.
Henry’s addition to the cast was confirmed last month, marking his third collaboration with Apple TV, following ‘Causeway,’ which earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor, and ‘Dope Thief,’ which landed him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
According to Apple, “Running follows a homeless high school running prodigy, played by Spike Fearn, on the hunt for greatness as he uses his gifts to outrun his past and find a family.”
‘Running’ is being written by Bill Dubuque, who collaborated with director Gavin O’Connor on The Accountant 2, Amazon MGM Studios’ second most-watched film of all time on streaming.
As is usually the case with features in early production stages, there are no details on when ‘Running’ is expected to land on Apple TV.
Apple TV is available for $12.99 per month and features hit TV shows and movies like Severance, The Studio, The Morning Show, Shrinking and Silo.
