’The Sisters Grimm’ returns October 2
“The Sisters Grimm” is set to return to Apple TV on October 2, just one day shy of the first anniversary of its season one premiere.
The animated adventure series, which is based on the NYT best-selling series of the same name by Michael Buckley, tells the story of two sisters who “navigate a town full of people torn straight from fantasy and fairy tales, confronting heroes and villains alike, while investigating the mystery of their missing parents.”
The show features voices from Abubakar Salim (Jamestown), Ariel Winter (Modern Family), Leah Newman (Kindergarten: The Musical), among others, and its seven-episode first season earned a 100% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes.

In season two, one year after their parents’ mysterious disappearance, sisters Sabrina and Daphne Grimm continue uncovering the secrets of Ferryport Landing, where fairy tales and fairy tale creatures are real, as they face new adventures and mysteries.
