Here’s how to get fastest iPhone Duo charging

iPhone Duo supports fast charging in both wired and wireless setups, but only with the right accessories. Here’s what Apple says you’ll need.

iPhone Duo offers fast charging, here’s what you’ll need

iPhone Duo can fast charge up to 50 percent battery in just 20 minutes. But you’ll need the right power adapter and cable to get top speeds.

Here’s Apple’s official guidance per this support document:

Wired Fast Charging

To fast charge iPhone Duo up to 50 percent battery in around 20 minutes, use the USB-C cable that came in the box and one of these adapters:

Wireless Fast Charging

To wirelessly charge iPhone Duo up to 50 percent in around 30 minutes, use:

Third-party chargers can often be a better deal than Apple’s own power adapters. My top recommendation is Anker’s 100W charging brick, which works great not only for iPhones but also more power-hungry Macs and iPads.

That said, the Apple 40W Dynamic Power Adapter at its reduced price is a great deal for a first-party option.

Additionally, if you want to pick up a longer USB-C cable than what comes in the iPhone Duo box, Apple’s official 2m cable is available at a discount here.
