Former ‘executive producer’ of Apple keynotes claims Steve Jobs promised his job was secure

Bloomberg reports that Apple’s former “executive producer” of public presentations is suing Apple following being let go late last year. The plaintiff, Wayne Goodrich, says he was fired without legitimate cause. The source of his case is that Apple co-founder Steve Jobs reportedly told Goodrich, in 2005, that his position with Apple is safe. Also, in 2010, Jobs apparently told him that even if his current position was no longer needed at Apple, he would be placed into another Apple job. (Image: DeviantArt)
