Apple has improved shipping times on several iPhone 6 and 6 Plus models ahead of the holidays, especially in the 16 GB range. The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 previously required 7 to 10 days to ship after being ordered, but that number has now dropped to just 5 to 7 days. Shipping times for the 64 and 128 GB models remains unchanged, however.
The 16 GB iPhone 6 Plus also saw an improvement, with the larger model now shipping in just 7 to 10 days. Unlike the smaller handset, the 64 and 128 GB versions of the 6 Plus are also getting reduced shipping times at 2 to 3 weeks (down from 3 to 4 weeks before that).
This is especially good news for those trying to get their hands on the Plus model, which has been facing constrained supplies for some time now. A few weeks ago T-Mobile CEO John Legere said that it will still be a little while longer before we see supply finally catch up with the demand for the two new smartphones. He also noted that around half of the orders T-Mobile got for new iPhones was for the larger model.

i just got my tracking info today!
I was surprised this past weekend to still see a line at Apple Store for iPhones. Don’t think the 5s had anywhere near this demand just based on lines at stores.
6plus 128 back to 3-4 weeks again
I wonder if ANY of the Shamesung models ever had this kind of constraints in shipping?
Doubtful! ;)
A few days ago I walked in to the apple shop in southhampton and I bought an iPhone 6 space gray and just like that. It was available and I bought it, no preorder or online order.
I ordered a 6+ 128 SG back on Oct 8th. Original ship window was 11/17 – 11/25. This morning this was updated to 12/14- 12/19. How is this an improvement?
