Apple’s retail head Angela Ahrendts appears to be celebrating the launch of the Apple Watch by visiting the company’s retail locations in China. Even though Apple retail stores do not have launch day stock of the Apple Watch, the picture above shows Ahrendts in a Chinese Apple Store. Of course, users can still try-on and use Apple Watch models in retail locations.
Retail head Angela Ahrendts has said that China is one of her key factors relating to Apple being a successful retail company. The company aims to operate at least 40 locations in China, with 5 new stores already having opened in the country during the first two months of 2015.
The Apple Watch has started to arrive to customers as the clock turns to April 24th around the world. You can view the first images of the device with customers here. As far as retail availability goes, select luxury boutiques and Japanese electronics retailers have the device in-stock, but Apple Stores do not.
