Imitation = the most sincere form of flattery? New specs are coming out on the Blackberry 9000 below..

BGR Says specs are:
- Everything we reported was true. 624MHz processor, 480×320 screen, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G, etc.
- The web browser flies. "Loads web pages in 3-4 seconds."
- The BlackBerry 9000 in its current state runs OS 4.5
- Early launch date was slated for a consumer AT&T launch on June 18th (3G iPhone?!). Remember that we predicted the device was delayed. See below.
- The battery lasts around 4 hours with straight phone calling. "Battery sucks, to be honest. With Wi-Fi on, I only got a little less than two hours browsing the web," and all testers are reporting huge battery issues which could be why we’re all hearing it is delayed.
- We’re not sure of the next part, but he said that the device either has 256MB of internal memory or 128MB. Don’t ask why we couldn’t tell the difference.

Happy april fools is all i can say!
I mean i'm an apple fanboy and all...
but... how is that imitation? it looks just like a polished up blackberry curve, not like an iphone...
@Kevin-
@Kevin-
At first glance, I'd agree with you, but if you just look at the overall size, shape, and colors of the new crackberry, it looks strikingly like an iPhone with a hard keyboard.
Both are black with silver back, both have rounded corners with silver looking trim.
Try this...hold your iPhone up close to the picture of the crackberry with the camera turned on...center the frame so that the keyboard and flower screen are all that you'll get a picture of. Take the picture, go to the camera roll, view that picture. Now hold up your iPhone next to the crackberry in this article, almost identical twins.
There's no doubt in my mind that the crackberry was influenced by the iPhone's design and form, even if it's keyboard makes it a not exact clone.
Urgh! Still ugly as hell.
Urgh! Still ugly as hell.
BORING!
Try again, RIM. I hold my iPhone, I look at that photo, and I sigh.
Stupid Idea
Making some thing look like an iPhone is a stupid idea and only goes to show you its a "me too" product. Apple will continue to innovate and provide products people actually love to use not forced to use.
Apple has done in one year what Rim has been trying to do for years. In one year Apple has turned the Blackberry a legacy product and technology.
Don't get me wrong I am not saying the iPhone is perfect but as a mobile platform that can evolve it kicks these guys in the teeth.
This has to be an April
This has to be an April Fools' joke. There's no way a business could seriously release something that ugly on the world without a disclaimer to warn parents to shield the childrens' eyes.
the blackberry on the right
the blackberry on the right hand side with the purple background looks like it is running on the google android OS
