The Archos 5 and 7 have TI OMAP ARM processors running at 600Mhz. Notice how fast they browse websites (with Flash)? Oh, and 10 hours of video playback? Imagine these devices with further optimization and some additional speed, iPhone Mobile OS X, App Store, 720P HD resolution and half as thick due to using flash instead of a hard drive and you might have something special.
Not enough? How about a WWAN connection? Just sayin’…
