Confirmed: iPad 3G launching soon in China

This morning the Apple iPad 3G was approved for sale in China by the Chinese government and now an Apple spokesperson has confirmed that Apple will be releasing a 3G version of their tablet into the Chinese market. Although it is confirmed that the iPad 3G is coming soon to china, the spokesperson, Caroline Wu, declined to comment on a release date or timeframe. Apple currently only sells the WiFi (WLAN as marketed in China) model in China due to government restrictions and now, with the new approval, China Unicom will be able to start selling these things legally.
