First shots from inside Apple’s retail store inside Harrods

We told you yesterday that Harrods’ Apple Store within-a-store would officially open today at 10 a.m. to sell the new iPad. We first told you in January about the new store debuting in Harrods’ famous London department store location. The new store is established within the Harrods Technology department, and the store appears to contain the typical wood harvest tables (judging by the first image above) that display Apple products normally seen in the company’s retail stores. It does not seem to have a Genius Bar, like we confirmed in January, but it is quite larger than Apple store-in-store locations seen before. We cannot see much Apple signage in this image, but we will update when we get our hands on more.

Earlier this year, Target announced plans to mirror BestBuy by opening 25 new Apple store-in-stores inside some of its retail locations.
