Apple releases OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 beta build 14E17e to developers

Alongside today’s new iOS 8.4 beta, Apple has released yet another beta build of the upcoming OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 to developers. Today’s build is labeled as build number 14E17e, and it is available via Software Update in the Mac App Store for developers running earlier versions of the beta. A new Public Beta for AppleSeed users is available as well. It is possible that 10.10.4 will be released in June alongside iTunes 12.2 (with the new Apple streaming music service). For the focus areas, Apple tells developers to pay special attention to the Photos application, the Migration Assistant, and Arabic and Hebrew language support.

They seeded new public beta too

  2. it’s possible that 10.10.4 and iTunes 12.2 will be released in March? That’s rough. Almost a year to wait. :P

  3. AppleSeed is NOT a ‘public beta’!!! There might be a public beta AND an AppleSeed released, but it’s not the same.. although it might be the same build..

Anyone getting wifi issues with this release?

    • Hi,
it seems to be lot better. I had till now always the problem that it took up to 2 minutes that airport util shows connected, emails are delivered in my inbox and Safai is working. With this Version everything is working a few seconds (perhaps 2 to 5 sec) after opening my macbook pro 13 late 2013.

      Best Robert

p.s.: by the way – Chrome browser works and worked always immediately after opening the macbook

My wifi didn’t work, but when I checked it at a local Starbuck’s – it worked! Perhaps all it needed was a double espresso? :-p

My wifi connection keeps dropping since 14E11f on my Macbook Pro. When it wakes from sleep, I have to wait for the wifi connection to re establish itself, some times it doest and I have to turn wifi off then on again. Sometimes it just drops and I get an exclamation mark in the wifi icon.
I was hoping 14E17e would fix it, but its the same. Its just dropped again while I was trying to post this, and now its trying to re establish a connection. It usually fails!……..it did!
