How to live stream the NFL playoffs on your iPhone & iPad

Following Wild Card Weekend last week, the NFL playoffs continue this weekend with divisional games. Yahoo Sports will be streaming all four of the games this weekend and next, and you can watch directly from your iPhone and iPad…

How to live stream the NFL playoffs on your iPhone & iPad

To stream the games directly from your iPhone and iPad, all you have to do is download the Yahoo Sports app from the App Store and enable location services, and unlike other services, it doesn’t matter what mobile network you’re on. While blackouts do apply in certain scenarios, this marks the easiest way by far to get your NFL fix while you’re on the go.

Yahoo Sports will also stream the NFC & AFC conference championships next week, as well as the Pro Bowl the next weekend.

Here’s the full schedule for the games:

  • Jan 13, 4:35 p.m. — Atlanta Falcons vs. Philadelphia Eagles on NBC
  • Jan 13, 8:15 p.m. — Tennessee Titans vs. New England Patriots on CBS
  • Jan 14, 1:05 p.m. — Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Pittsburgh Steelers on CBS
  • Jan 14, 4:40 p.m. — New Orleans Saints vs. Minnesota Vikings on FOX
  • Jan 21 — NFC & AFC Conference Championships
  • Jan 28 – Pro Bowl

Yahoo Sports also says it will stream Super Bowl LII on February 4th, though specific details about that remain unclear. It’s also unclear if AirPlay will be available for streaming to Apple TV.

Super Bowl LII, the 52nd Super Bowl and the 48th modern-era National Football League (NFL) championship game, will decide the league champion for the 2017 NFL season.

The game is scheduled to be held on February 4, 2018, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the second Super Bowl in Minneapolis, which previously hosted Super Bowl XXVI in 1992. It will be the sixth Super Bowl in a cold weather city

Furthermore, Yahoo says this year’s playoff streaming is just the start of its efforts in streaming. Next year, users will be able to stream in-market and national games, including the playoffs:

This is just the start of the experience for Yahoo Sports fans and Oath’s billion members across its house of brands. Beginning next season, users will be able to stream in-market and national games, including national pre-season, regular season, playoff games and the Super Bowl, nationwide regardless of mobile network by downloading the Yahoo Sports app.

Download Yahoo Sports from the App Store from free. Will you be tuning in to any of the games this weekend? Let us know down in the comments.
