As the official launch date nears, shipping times for Apple’s HomePod have started to slip in the United States. While the smart speaker has been back ordered in the U.K. and Australia for a few days, prior to today, you were still able to order a HomePod for launch day delivery in the United States.
According to Apple’s Online Store, if you order a HomePod right now, you can expect it to arrive between February 12th and February 13th.
Of course, it’s important to remember that we’re already getting close to February 12th/13th, so it’s clear that HomePod isn’t incredibly supply constrained in the United States. For instance, in the U.K, HomePod shipping estimates currently sit at February 14th and slipped to February 13th at a much earlier date.
For comparison’s sake, you can still order other Apple products for delivery this week from Apple’s Online Store. So, while it’s not as dramatic of a delay as other brand new Apple products, the HomePod is somewhat supply constrained.
All in all, if you’ve held off on buying a HomePod thus far, I wouldn’t worry too much if you change your mind – you’ll likely have no trouble getting one whenever you do decide to pull the trigger.
