Flir unveils One Pro LT thermal image camera for iPhone with more affordable price

Flir has released its newest professional-grade thermal image camera for iPhone today, the One Pro LT. This new model features the same core benefits of the popular One Pro model but at a more affordable price.

Available starting today, Flir has brought its most popular features and proprietary tech to the One Pro LT with a price of $299. The more robust model, the One Pro (reviewed) sells for closer to $400.

With the enhanced resolution of FLIR VividIR™ processing, added perspective of FLIR MSX®, and the convenience of the OneFit™ adjustable connector, FLIR ONE Pro LT works as hard as you do. Whether you’re a professional or just focused on DIY projects, the FLIR ONE Pro LT has the powerful features you need at an affordable price.

While the functionality of the LT will be suitable for most, it is less powerful than the One Pro with a lower max image resolution (4,800 px vs. 19,200 px), lower max temperature measurements and more.
Along with the new LT model, Flir is updating its iOS app to offer new tools like multiple spot temperature meters, custom onscreen temperature tracking regions, helpful tips for problem solving and more. Apple Watch compatibility also lets users to “stream live thermal imagery to see around corners and take images or video from your device.”

If you’ve been considering a Flir thermal camera for personal or professional use, this could be a good time to pick one up. Be sure to check out Jeff’s full review in the video below.

With orders expected to start shipping to customers next week, the new Flir One Pro LT is available direct as well as on Amazon for $299.
