New Apple TV show ‘Disclaimer’ now available to watch, starring Cate Blanchett

Apple TV+ today starts streaming a high-profile new series, called Disclaimer, based on the book of the same name. The series is created by esteemed Alfonso Cuarón, and stars Cate Blanchett in the lead roles. Here’s how to watch.

In Disclaimer, Cate Blanchett plays the main character, a journalist named Catherine Ravenscroft. She is an acclaimed journalist. One day, she discovers that an apparent work of fiction is actually retelling private events of her own life, with the identity of the book’s author unknown. Ravenscroft tries to find out who wrote the book, and in the process must confront her deepest secrets and ingrained family issues she had been trying to ignore.

Disclaimer is a seven-part limited series, with all episodes directed by Cuaron. As well as Blanchett, the star power runs deep in the cast list. The show features Kevin Kline, Sacha Baron Cohen, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Lesley Manville and more.

How to watch Disclaimer

To watch Disclaimer, you need an Apple TV+ subscription. Normally priced at $9.99 per month, the subscription is also part of the Apple One bundle.

Disclaimer is being released on a weekly basis, with new episodes every Friday. The first two episodes are available to watch now, and the finale will air on November 15. Also streaming today is a new documentary feature The Last of the Sea Women, with Shrinking season two and new horror thriller Before airing later in October.
