Apple has unveiled a new M4 MacBook Pro, and just like the M3 last year, there’s a new 14-inch entry model along with two higher-cost premium versions. Here are all the details on the more budget-friendly, entry 14-inch MacBook Pro.
New M4 MacBook Pro entry model debuts
It’s the final day of Apple’s three consecutive planned Mac announcements. Monday saw the new M4 iMac, Tuesday the redesigned Mac mini, and today Apple has unveiled the new M4 MacBook Pro.
Like before, you can buy the MacBook Pro in 14-inch and 16-inch models. But if you’re on a tight budget, the entry model is the way to go, and it only comes in a 14-inch version.
Here’s John Ternus, Apple’s hardware head:
“MacBook Pro is an incredibly powerful tool that millions of people use to do their life’s best work, and today we’re making it even better,” said John Ternus, Apple’s senior vice president of Hardware Engineering. “With the powerful M4 family of chips, and packed with pro features like Thunderbolt 5, an advanced 12MP Center Stage camera, an all-new nano-texture display option, and Apple Intelligence, the new MacBook Pro continues to be, by far, the world’s best pro laptop.”
