Mythic Quest season 4 gets Apple TV+ release date, plus new spin-off

Mythic Quest is one of the best and longest-running comedies Apple TV+ offers, and new episodes are coming very soon—followed by a new anthology series. Here’s when you can expect Mythic Quest season 4 and more to drop.

New season of Mythic Quest coming early 2025

Apple has announced that season 4 of Mythic Quest will debut on Wednesday, January 29.

There will be two episodes available immediately on Apple TV+, followed by weekly episode releases through March 26 for a total of 10 episodes.

Here’s the season 4 summary:

Season four of “Mythic Quest” brings stars McElhenney, Charlotte Nicdao, David Hornsby, Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch, Imani Hakim, Jessie Ennis and Naomi Ekperigin back together under the same fluorescent office lights. The reunited team at Mythic Quest confronts new challenges amongst a changing video game landscape as stars rise, egos clash, relationships bloom and everyone tries to have a little more work life balance.

But there’s even more good news for Mythic Quest fans.

Side Quest is a new anthology companion series

The long-awaited spin-off series, dubbed Side Quest, will debut right after season 4 ends.

Side Quest

Side Quest is a companion series exploring ‘the lives of employees, players and fans who are impacted by the game in an anthology format.’

There are only 4 episodes coming for Side Quest (at least for now), and they will all become available on the same day Mythic Quest’s season ends: Wednesday, March 26.

Since it’s an anthology series, the characters will differ in each of the episodes. However, Apple says that Mythic Quest’s Rob McElhenney will be part of the spin-off’s cast in some capacity.
