The iPhone 16 Pro devices offer Apple’s largest smartphone screens ever while making them lighter than their smaller steel predecessors. Here’s how much lighter the titanium iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are compared to the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.

To accommodate the 6.3 and 6.9-inch displays, the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are slightly larger than the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max which have 6.1 and 6.7-inch screens.

But thanks to the titanium builds, the new, larger pro iPhones weigh less.

Titanium iPhone vs steel weight difference

The 6.3-inch iPhone 16 Pro weighs 0.24 ounces less than the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro.

The 6.9-inch iPhone 16 Pro Max weighs 0.48 ounces less than the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.

While those differences may not sound like much, it may feel surprisingly lighter in hand since it’s less weight across a larger device footprint.
