Apple increases iPad trade-in values, but mostly only by $5

Apple has increased its iPad trade-in values, with iPad Pro models seeing a $35 increase in the maximum value possible.

However, all other models have seen the upper limit on their trade-in values increased by just $5 …

The increases were spotted by MacRumors.

  • iPad Pro: Up to $555 (vs. $520)
  • iPad Air: Up to $275 (vs. $270)
  • iPad: Up to $190 (vs. $185)
  • iPad mini: Up to $215 (vs. $210)

The actual amount you will receive depends on the model, age, and condition – with some units worth as little as $45.

You’ll always be able to get more by selling privately, or by using third-party trade-in services, but some prefer the convenience of an official Apple trade-in, especially when purchasing a new model.
