Hmm…something seems to have gone wrong. That’s according to ChatGPT, which is currently experiencing an outage of some scale right now.
The issue started around 12:45 ET. Prompts will appear to load for a moment before the above error message is returned.
ChatGPT users have taken to X to ask the question of the day: is ChatGPT down? For now, the answer is yes, for some at least.
Human intelligence is all we have left.
Update: An hour later, service appears to be returning. Spotty and slow, but no more error messages. So long, Dark Ages.
