Apple Card holders can get six months of $0 delivery fees and 5% back on rides with Uber

There’s a new perk awaiting Apple Card holders this week. Also, one reason to pay for phone service with Apple Card is going away.

Apple is notifying Apple Card holders about a new promotion this week that unlocks six months of Uber One membership at no cost. The extended free trial period includes Uber One perks like $0 delivery fees with Uber Eats, 6% back in credits with Uber Rides, and up to 10% off delivery and pickup orders.

Apple Card holders can sign up for the extended Uber One free trial using a special link distributed through email. Uber is also part of the boosted 3% Daily Cash back rate with Apple Card.

I got the email with the link but it says I have already taken advantage of free months of uber. What’s odd is while that is true, I haven’t received any from my Apple Card. So essentially it’s just a marketing to those that haven’t received offers from other sources. I’m okay with that as it’d just end up costing me more in the end as I rarely have a use for uber. To be a customer again they’d need to incentivize me in some way.

Meanwhile, another promotion around 3% Daily Cash back is ending at the end of next month. T-Mobile transactions with Apple Card will no longer be eligible for 3% Daily Cash starting July 1, 2025.
