Elon Musk’s xAI firm has some counter-programming planned following OpenAI’s GPT-5 upgrade to ChatGPT.
Specifically, xAI has made the Grok Imagine tool for turning images into short videos available for free for everyone.
Grok Imagine is one of the few image-to-video generative AI tools publicly available for free.
Access to the tool is available inside the Grok app on iOS and Android. Grok Imagine first has you generate or upload an image, then it presents a button to convert it into a video.
